Oregin
In 2009, Galileo Services and OREGIN (ORganisation of European Gnss equipment and services Industries) joined their forces. OREGIN was set up in 1999 to support the development of the GNSS downstream industry with a specific emphasis on Galileo. It comprises over 180 members from 20 different European countries, ranging from large companies to the smallest innovative start-ups and SMEs, in association with university research centres.
In linking their networks, Galileo Services and OREGIN now federate the most active and representative players of GNSS industry and research supporting the Galileo Programme. This federation provide an unrivalled platform for partnership and information exchange between its Members, and will offer a powerful support and representativeness to institutions.
