As every year, Galileo Services actively participated in the European Navigation Conference organized by EUGIN (the European Group of Institutes of Navigation) and hosted this year by the Italian Institute of Navigation in Naples (Italy).
In his speech delivered during the plenary session, the Chairman, Gard UELAND, highlighted three key messages : "Innovative solutions combined with a sound business model are exactly what our members rely on in developing their business. As a matter of fact -this is exactly what Europe needs- initiatives and new ideas that develop its industry, and create new jobs" "Galileo is coming along and we can not afford further delays" With address to the EU Parliament, Mr. Ueland stated : "Let us (Europe) not miss out on this Galileo momentum opportunity and reestablish a substantial budget that will encourage increasing and substantial product and industry initiatives" |
