About Septentrio:

Septentrio Satellite Navigation nv was founded in 2000 as a privately held company for the development and production of high-end dual frequency GNSS receivers. The company’s headquarters are in Leuven's DSP Valley, close to Brussels, Belgium. Septentrio is also present in the US, with a sales office in San Jose, CA.
     
  puce Septentrio in the NavSat space:

Septentrio participates in EC- and ESA-funded projects for the development and application of satellite-based navigation and positioning solutions to enhance safety and efficiency of sea, air and train transport. One example is the Locoprol project, where satellite navigation technology is used to provide an innovative cost-effective vital fail-safe train location system as the core of a train protection, control and command system for low density traffic lines.
     
  puce Septentrio's involvement in Galileo Services:

Septentrio Satellite Navigation actively participates in Europe's Galileo satellite navigation programme. The company is a member of the Oregin organisation for the development and promotion of GNSS business, and a founding member of Galileo Services. In 2005, Septentio will capture the first Galileo signal with a Galileo reference receiver
