NOVATEL's involvement in Galileo Services
NovAtel has been involved in Galileo development since 2000.
As a Galileo Services member, NovAtel is contributing business/technical knowledge to enhance the economics of
downstream Galileo systems and applications. The Company's technical contributions are numerous.
NovAtel is part of the Alcatel Alenia Space - Italia team developing the Galileo Receiver Chain (GRC) for the
Galileo ground control system (GMS), and has also released commercial-grade Galileo L1/E5a and E5a/E5b receivers developed through the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). NovAtel has participated in Galileo pre-development activities through the European Space Agency (ESA), Thales ATM/Thales Avionics, and CSA. And, the Company has supplied the EGNOS RIMS-C reference receiver.
