		About EDISOFT: Established in 1988, EDISOFT is a specialised Portuguese company offering technologically advanced solutions in the domains of space systems, collective security systems, air traffic control and management systems, guns and sensors' command and control systems, information integration systems, logistic information systems and GIS-based decision systems. Today a Portuguese presence throughout the world, EDISOFT's operational systems clearly highlight the Company's commitment to the internationalization effort, on one part, and to the drive for innovation and entrepreneurship on another.
		EDISOFT in the NavSat Space EDISOFT is the Portuguese pioneer of Europe's satellite navigation system. For EGNOS, EDISOFT was involved with algorithmic analysis using the EGNOS End-To-End Simulator, with the development of the Range and Integrity Monitoring System and with the assembly, integration and validation activities of the Central Processing Facility. EDISOFT first joined GALILEO through the EC's GALA project and then worked on the Demonstration Tools Specification for the Support Segment Definition package. In Phase B2, EDISOFT participated in the Search and Rescue, Satellite Control Entity, Navigation Control Entity, Ground Control System and Galileo Mission Segment modules. Also EDISOFT contributed to the Integration and Dissemination Service, the Satellite Control Entity, the Orbit Determination and Time Synchronization activities and the System's Performance Analysis. Within the scope of Phase C0, EDISOFT supports Search And Rescue activities, namely the analysis of SAR/Galileo architecture, specifications and preliminary design of the MEOLUT and the RLSP. For the Ground Control Segment, EDISOFT is responsible for the RAMS engineering and contributes to the ILS Tools. In the Ground Mission Segment, EDISOFT focus the GSS engineering requirements and design and the definition of interface requirements between the Galileo System Test Bed and external entities. For Galileo C/D/E1 phases, EDISOFT not only provides technical support to the Integrity Performance Facility but is also responsible for both the development on the OMSF Common Support Facility and the Standard Product Generation components. Finally, in GALILEO Message Generation Facility, EDISOFT is responsible for the development of the Monitoring and Control component.
		EDISOFT's involvement in Galileo Services EDISOFT has contributed to the development of several GNSS-based applications, namely the POLARIS 3D GNSS Simulator, the Vehicular Remote Tolling (VERT), Service Coordinated Operational emergency Rescue using EGNOS (SCORE), GALILEO Search and Rescue (GISAR), LIAISON (Location-based Services Applied on Enhanced Work Environment) and MONITOR (Land Surveying and Civil Engineering Monitoring). EDISOFT joined, from day one, Europe's ambition to have an independent industry in satellite navigation. With the advent of GALILEO, and EGNOS as a first step in the European GNSS strategy, the availability of innovative features that differentiate the navigation services' provision will enable new applications. With the transition to the EGNOS Operational System, EDISOFT has seized the opportunity to implement services and aims to continue to pave way for the introduction of GALILEO services, in the near future.
